Arch Linux with Gnome DE (yes, not the best combo out there) on a Thinkpad T510. I used Linux a lot on this machine and it had never happened before.
Basically, when terminal asks for psw to run sudo commands, sometimes it would say "wrong password" despite being the right one that worked until 30 seconds before. If I log out, I get locked out until I manually reboot the machide and then the password magically works.
I encountered this issue on my Dell Latitude e7450 also running Arch. I wonder then if this is a common issue.
Also 100% scaling is way too big on this machine: Gnome looks almost like my grandma's phone.
I tried editing monitors XML to set scaling to 0.5, but that makes everything unreadable. Setting it to something like 0.8 is likely ignored by the system as it does not differ from 1 at all. Screen resolution is 1366x768.
